THE ESTATE IN HORNACHUELOS (Córdoba)
A private estate in the midst of the Sierra de Hornachuelos Natural Park and featuring one of the best private properties for corporate events in Andalusia. This is an ideal place to experience nature and can bring companies closer to the attractions of an unspoilt landscape that enables them to enjoy outdoor activities.
The current owner’s great-grandfather built this private estate to provide accommodation for King Alfonso XIII, who spent long periods of time in contact with nature. Refurbished at the beginning of the 20th century, it was built in the Spanish style, but with Italian inspiration. The house consists of two floors with a "U" layout, which are divided into two distinct wings that retain their original essence, but which include all the advantages and comforts of a modern country house.
It has cosy communal living spaces and there is an open fireplace which becomes a meeting point in winter when a hypnotizing fire is burning, and where lively conversations take place that make our guests feel at home. The renovation work carried out in recent years has made it possible to equip the new wing of the house with the most modern comforts, and now all the bedroom suites have en-suite bathrooms.
The completely private house is surrounded by four gardens of different styles, and there are more than 25 varieties of sweet and bitter orange trees, grapefruit trees, lemon trees and mandarin trees that were planted in the early twentieth century. This is a truly special place to hold any kind of outdoor activity, outdoor activity or team building event.
In addition, the old water storage ditch has been transformed into a swimming pool, which is flanked by two other "private villa" type suites that delight even the most demanding of guests.
