THE VILLA IN PROVENCE

This private house, inspired by the typical villas in Tuscany, is an architectural gem. A magical and quiet estate, which is situated between vineyards and centuries-old trees. This French château has its own winery and event held here becomes one-of-a-kind, an almost romantic experience.

There are hundreds of hectares of vineyards, eight hectares of almond trees, four hectares of truffle oaks and some olive trees that round off the private estate. This is set out over the typical landscape of Provence, and its people, customs and lifestyle are just waiting to be discovered.

In the centre of the estate is the château, built with a feudal grant from Henry III in 1576. It has belonged to some of the greatest families of Provence and its vineyards, as well as the family winemaking tradition, remain to this day.

The historical, magical Villa in Provence is distinguished for its luxury and serenity. The private house is a luxury castle built in the Tuscan tradition. Except from the towers which date from 1805, nothing has been changed. The bedrooms, all outward facing, offer magnificent views of the Alpilles mountains. The estate, the gardens and the vineyards have all been carefully decorated to respect the different historical periods they date from and the maximum attention to detail has been paid.

The gardens, flanked by olive and almond trees which produce wonderful oils, date from the beginning of the 17thcentury and is reminiscent of the gardens of Versailles. They are ideal for carrying out any kind of outdoor activities while the estate is the perfect place for any type of corporate event: business meetings, management committees, etc.

In total there are 140 hectares of vineyards that can be found in the centre of the estate and they spread out like a green sea over an area of 300 hectares. Located 400 metres above sea level, it is one of the largest in Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence.
