Nowadays, this is a private residence and it is owned by the Marchioness of Tenorio. The house has been carefully restored so that our guests can enjoy all the comforts and amenities they would expect, and its original courtyard and outbuildings have been preserved. Special attention has been paid to the details – in keeping with the charm and flair of a typical Sevillian private house. On the crenelated facade there is a commemorative plaque to the American diplomat and writer Washington Irving, who lived in this house while writing his most widely read work "Tales of theAlhambra". From its different balconies and windows, you can admire some of the most spectacular views: the gardens of the Alcazar and the main sights in the city.
The interior of the house has been carefully furnished with antiques, paintings, silver and personal objects from the owner. There is also a remarkable collection of contemporary art.
